Our Policies For Color Matching
COLOR ACCURACY: When comparing color samples to your monitor, you will certainly find differences. This is the variation of the colors in your monitor when compared to the real physical samples. The real product colors will vary from that shown on your monitor or on printed samples. Differences from your monitor cannot be a reason for a return of a product. If product color matches are a possible issue, please request samples for a more accurate depiction of the materials.
PHYSICAL SAMPLES: While we do comply with industry standards in color and pattern control, there will be variations between the samples and the finished product. Most materials used in window treatments are made in dye lot productions, and thus will have differences from production to production. This is not a defect, and is not a cause for return or concern.
MULTIPLE PRODUCTS: IF you expect to order for a project, order all the treatments for the project at the same time. This will allow us to control for dye lots during production. Multiple orders cannot have this order to order control.
BACK LIGHTING OF FABRICS: When your products are installed in your windows, there will be a change in the disposition of the colors, called \"Back lighting”, which is the result of the filtering of the light through translucent materials. This effect is considered decorative and desirable, and is not a product defect.
BAMBOO SHADES: Bamboo trees have variations in thickness and texture as well as shape. As a result, real bamboo shades will have similar variations in shape, pattern and color, as well as texture. The range of colors can be anywhere from a greenish yellow to a brown, and while we do control for the sample matching the finished product, there are extremes that are expected to happen at times, and these will only be whipped when within industry tolerances. For this reason, color matching on this product is not guaranteed.
MATCHING COMPONENTS: Some products use similar colored materials throughout the production. The end result is that often a finished product in a color may have plastic, metal, wood or even fabric materials in parts of the finished product. These components may have a similar color, but almost never can be an exact match. This applies for tassels, bottom rails, valances, pulls, brackets, control systems, cords, ladders, chains, and the other elements of the product. In some products, there will be variation from piece to piece, as well, within materials of the same composition; for example, the wood slats may vary in color.
