Basic Blackout Vinyl Roller Shades are the most fundamental of blackout window shades. Using the highest quality of 4-part fabrics (vinyl surfaced), we have a highly durable and easy-to-clean product that rolls and hangs flat, and is longer lasting than many. Excellent for use in any place in your home or office, our wide collection of colors and styles will decorate while blocking all the light that hits the roller shades.

The Basic Blackout Vinyl Roller Shades are blackout, because no light will pass through the material. These window shades, like all roller shades, have open spaces on the sides and top, and light can pass by those areas if used as inside mount window shades.

Also, because the measurements of Roller Shades is "bracket-to-bracket", the fabric will be narrower by as much as 1 3/8" of the window shades. This is divided between the sides, but if this will be an issue, order outside mounted shades. This gap will let light into the room. Our standard system includes a chain lifting system. This system, which uses a "clutch" allows for the fabric to stay cleaner, by not needing to be touched, and the roller shades can be positioned to the exactly desired height. No more battling with springs!!!

Color Accuracy Policy:

Although we do our best to make sure that the colors on our web site are accurate, actual colors will vary. In addition, subtle color differences and textures may not be fully appreciated on some systems due to differences in monitors and/or display cards because computer monitors are not all calibrated equally and color reproduction on the Internet is not precise. Since it is not possible to guarantee our online colors will look the same on all computers, we do not guarantee that what you see accurately portrays the color of the actual window treatment. Due to the fact that our products are all custom made, and can't be returned, you need to be sure that you can live with any color variations that are possible from our scanning of the actual samples. Also, most of our products use Color Coordinated Components. Color Coordinated means similar colors but not necessarily the same exact color. An exact match in color is not always possible for the components of the blind/shade. The color that best coordinates with the product's slat/fabric color will be chosen for use on the components. All components will not necessarily be of the same exact coordinated color. Some examples of color-coordinated component would be ladder strings, lift cords, tilter mechanisms, bottom rails, tassels, etc. If an exact color match is needed, please call and make an appointment for an in-home estimate and a friendly sales representative will bring the actual samples to your home for examination.

Roller Shades Stack Height

The stack height varies based on the size of the roller shade. The wider/longer the shade the bigger the roll will be when the shade is in the up position. Larger sized shades also require a thicker the tube to support the shade. We can only estimate the stack sizes for customer inquiries. The normal estimation is anywhere from 2-5 inches.

Warranty Information

Roller Shades Lifetime Limited Warranty

Our Guarantee: We warrant that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product, provided that the product was installed properly and in accordance with installation instructions. This limited warranty is extended to the original purchaser only, in the original window for which it was intended. This limited warranty covers parts only and excludes any labor or freight costs required to remove or re-install the product.

This warranty does not include any conditions or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, sun exposure, misuse, abuse, or failure to follow printed instructions on installation, care and cleaning, or repairs. W arpage due to excessive humidity or discoloration due to sunlight or the passage of time is not covered by this warranty. This warranty also does not apply to conditions resulting from normal wear and tear. Cords and strings are considered a wearable part.

We reserve the right to inspect any part or component prior to replacement. If you require further assistance, contact us. All warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase, as well as details regarding the nature of the problem, location, etc.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS, LIABILITES, OR WARRANTIES. In no event shall we be liable or responsible for incidental or consequential damages, or for any direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense or fee. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion or limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Motors are warranted for a period of 5 years.

Shipping Fees

UPS or FedEx Ground Shipping:
This applies to all orders under 96 inches in width or length shipping to an address in the contiguous 48 states of the U.S. If it travels by UPS or FedEx then shipping is FREE! Please call us for shipping quotes outside the covered area. Excluding all Plantation Shutters, which incurrs a 0.00 flat shipping fee per manufacturer.

Oversize Products Shipping Fee:
If your package is 96 inches or over in width or length it will be shipped by common carrier (semi truck) from the nearest manufacturing facility to you. There will be a .00 oversize shipping charge for any order with products that are 96 inches or more in width or length. This charge is per manufacturer. Meaning if you order two oversized products and they are from two different manufacturers (two different brands) then there will be TWO charges for a total of 0 shipping. But, if you have more than one product over 96 inches at it is from same manufacturer you will only pay one oversize fee. The fee is per order, not per blind. Excluding all Plantation Shutters, which incurs a 0.00 flat shipping fee per manufacturer.
